Ali Alshareef is a Partner and the General Manager of the firm, which is headquartered in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Ali is a licensed lawyer in Saudi Arabia and a certified VAT trainer accredited by the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority, with over 10 years of practical experience.
Ali’s expertise focuses on corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate structuring, initial public offerings, crowdfunding operations, capital market transactions, and corporate and commercial legal affairs.
Before founding the firm, Ali worked in Saudi law firms in partnership with American global firms in Riyadh.
Selected Previous Experience
- Executed acquisition transactions between companies licensed by the Saudi Central Bank in the financing and savings sectors.
- Developed the legal framework and document workflow for the procurement department of a company affiliated with the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources.
- Managed the liquidation of industrial enterprises involving investment partnerships.
- Developed a legal model for an ownership-transfer platform and obtained a FinTech ExPermit from the Capital Market Authority.
- Established and restructured more than 20 family-owned entities, resulting in the incorporation of over 50 companies.
- Obtained the first FinTech ExPermit for the first licensed crowdfunding company.
- Executed mergers involving food and restaurant companies operating more than 15 branches.
- Supervised the acquisition of a foreign company by a Saudi technology company.
- Provided specialized legal advice in real estate development, real estate funds, fractional ownership, and off-plan sales.
- Secured the first judicial ruling applying value-added tax before Saudi courts.
